Images to PDF: paper and margins guide
Arrange customer photographs and scanned images into a PDF with a consistent paper size. Choose A4, Letter or A5, adjust portrait or landscape orientation and set printable margins. The images are fitted without stretching, so this workflow suits assignments, receipts and notes that need predictable page edges for ordinary office printers and photocopy machines.
Before you start
Keep an unchanged copy of the original images. Use a clear file name and check that the selected files belong to this job. A sharp, evenly lit image preserves more usable detail than a heavily blurred or cropped photo.
Work on a device with enough free memory for the job. A small sample is a useful first check, especially on a phone or when the source contains many pages or high-resolution photographs. Keep other large processing tabs closed while generating the result.
Steps and settings
- Choose and arrange the images.
- Choose paper size, orientation and margins.
- Create the PDF and check print scaling before printing.
Use the settings shown in the workspace for this task. Recheck the file order and measurements before starting. If you change an input or setting after a result is generated, create a fresh output so the downloaded file matches the choices currently displayed.
Processing details
Each image is placed proportionally inside the printable rectangle of a new page. PDF page dimensions use points, while the margin control is expressed in millimeters.
Processing stays on your device, without an account, API subscription or document upload. Book centers, freelancers and developers can use the website free of charge; prepare its resources while online before working offline. The current installed app and extension have a separate release schedule.
Result checks
- Open the actual downloaded result and compare it with the source or entered details.
- Check the first and final pages, ordering, borders and any fine text, numbers or stamps.
- Print a single test sheet before a large job. Choose actual size or 100% when physical measurements matter.
- Keep the original input until the customer or intended reader has accepted the result.
Practical limits
Image quality is limited by the input resolution. The tool fits images to paper; it does not repair blur or guarantee borderless printer support.
A PDF edit can invalidate an existing digital signature. Image-based PDF output can remove selectable text, interactive fields and links. Use the original when its editable or interactive features must be preserved.
Offline preparation and app availability
Prepare the website resources from Help while the connection is available and wait for the ready status. Tools that use OCR or a Nastaliq font require an additional optional resource download. HEIC decoding is included in the main website resource pack. Test the required workflow after disabling the connection; browser storage can be cleared or evicted later.
Adding the site to a phone’s Home Screen creates convenient access and does not itself prepare every resource. The existing Microsoft Store app and Edge extension contain the original four PDF tools. This Book Center website tool needs a separate installed-package release before it appears in those apps.
Images to PDF: paper and margins answers
Printer scaling
Use actual size or 100% print scale when measurements matter. A printer driver can add its own scaling or unprintable margins after the PDF is created.
Price and account requirements
This website tool is 100% free. No login, subscription or paid conversion tier is required. Your device supplies the processing memory.
Files and privacy
Input documents and generated results are handled locally. They are not sent to a QBMFX conversion API or stored in a customer database. Website hosting and advertising can still make separate network requests.
Offline preparation
Prepare the website resources from Help while connected, then test the required tool offline. OCR and Urdu text tools also need their optional language or font resources prepared first. Browser storage can be removed by the browser or by you.
Windows app and Edge extension
The existing installed app and extension contain the original four PDF tools. These new Book Center tools belong to the website release; they will need a separate installed-package update.
