Add QR code to PDF

Add a static QR code containing a link or short text to a PDF. Set the code’s position and size, then print a sample and scan it before producing many copies. The code stores the supplied payload directly; it does not use a tracking redirect, account dashboard or subscription-based code service. Book centers, freelancers and developers can use this free local workspace without a login or paid conversion API. Keep the original and inspect the downloaded result.

100% freeNo loginFiles stay on your device

Use the arrows to put files in the order you want. Selecting more files adds them to this list.

    Page preview

Select a PDF, then open its preview. The document stays on your device. Preview and thumbnails support up to 200 pages; larger vector jobs can use the page-order field.

    Saved processing settings

Save paper, layout and quality settings on this device. Document text, files and passwords are excluded.

Choose your files and review the settings.

Keep originals and inspect the result before printing. File changes clear previous downloads. Heavy image and OCR work can take longer on a phone.

    Behind the result

A local QR encoder creates code artwork from the entered text and embeds it inside selected PDF pages.

    Free tools for everyday work

Book centers, photocopy shops, freelancers and developers can use this workspace without a paid plan or account. Files are processed locally. Prepare website resources from offline setup before disconnecting; Urdu/OCR also needs the separate pack above.

The Windows app currently includes the original four tools. The expanded tools are available on the website; app and extension updates will be separate releases.

    Answers and practical details

    QR privacy

Text is encoded directly. Opening a website encoded in the QR can still contact that website separately.

    Price and accounts

This website workflow is free without a login, subscription or paid conversion tier. Your browser supplies the processing memory and CPU.

    Local file handling

Selected documents and generated results are processed on your device. QBMFX does not upload them to a conversion server or save them in a customer database. Hosting, advertising and opening external links are separate network activity.

    Offline preparation

Prepare the supported website resources while connected, wait for the ready status and test the workflow before disconnecting. OCR, advanced PDF processing or fonts can need an additional local resource pack. Browser cleanup can remove saved resources.

    Installed app availability

The Microsoft Store app and Edge package currently contain the original four tools. Website additions require a separate installed-package release and do not update those packages automatically.
