Advanced PDF optimization
Choose a lossless structural rewrite or an image-based sharing copy with explicit resolution and quality controls. Raster mode can reduce scan-heavy files when print-level detail is unnecessary. Inspect small text, stamps and illustrations before sending the result because lower resolution and lossy encoding can remove detail even when the output file is substantially smaller. Book centers, freelancers and developers can use this free local workspace without a login or paid conversion API. Keep the original and inspect the downloaded result.
Choose your files and review the settings.
Keep originals and inspect the result before printing. File changes clear previous downloads. Heavy image and OCR work can take longer on a phone.
Using Advanced PDF optimization
- Choose a PDF and select lossless or raster mode.
- Set resolution, quality and size preference when using raster mode.
- Create the result and compare detail and file size with the original.
Behind the result
Lossless mode rewrites supported PDF structures without deliberately rasterizing page artwork. Raster mode renders pages at bounded resolution and rebuilds an image-based PDF using the selected quality.
Free tools for everyday work
Book centers, photocopy shops, freelancers and developers can use this workspace without a paid plan or account. Files are processed locally. Prepare website resources from offline setup before disconnecting; Urdu/OCR also needs the separate pack above.
The Windows app currently includes the original four tools. The expanded tools are available on the website; app and extension updates will be separate releases.
Answers and practical details
Quality trade-off
A smaller file is not automatically a better document. Keep enough resolution for fine writing and preserve the original editable or searchable version.
Price and accounts
This website workflow is free without a login, subscription or paid conversion tier. Your browser supplies the processing memory and CPU.
Local file handling
Selected documents and generated results are processed on your device. QBMFX does not upload them to a conversion server or save them in a customer database. Hosting, advertising and opening external links are separate network activity.
Offline preparation
Prepare the supported website resources while connected, wait for the ready status and test the workflow before disconnecting. OCR, advanced PDF processing or fonts can need an additional local resource pack. Browser cleanup can remove saved resources.
Installed app availability
The Microsoft Store app and Edge package currently contain the original four tools. Website additions require a separate installed-package release and do not update those packages automatically.
