Basic Word and table exports do not preserve complete page layout. Scans need OCR before text extraction, and recognition needs proofreading. Pasted HTML is converted to a sanitized text layout. A webpage URL can only be read when its website permits cross-origin browser access; pasted HTML remains available as a fallback.
